At Bourbon Bigfoot, we don’t just sell lumber — we help you build with material you can feel good about. A lot of what we mill comes from urban trees here in Ohio: trees that might otherwise be chipped or wasted, now turned into beautiful boards ready for furniture, cabinetry, trim, shelving, and one-of-a-kind projects.

Because we handle the process in-house — from log to finished lumber — you get better consistency, better quality control, and a shop you can actually talk to when you need something specific.

Kiln-Dried Lumber (Why It Matters)

Drying is where good lumber becomes great lumber.

Our iDRY vacuum kiln helps us dry lumber efficiently and consistently, so you can build with material that’s more stable and predictable.

• Improved stability for furniture, cabinetry, and interior projects

• More consistent moisture content (less movement after you build)

• Cleaner, more reliable machining and joinery

• Faster path from log to usable lumber compared to air-drying alone

Got a tree down on your property and want to turn it into something meaningful? We offer custom milling services so you can keep the story of that tree alive — in a table, a mantel, a set of shelves, or heirloom furniture.

If you want to take it a step further, we can also vacuum kiln dry your lumber so it’s better suited for indoor builds.

Custom milling pricing:

• $1.50 / board foot (standard)

• $3.00 / board foot (premium)

Premium options can include value-added services, priority turnaround, and specialty handling depending on the project.
